How much time should I expect to spend as a participant in a Qvest?
You decide how much time you spend asking and answering questions. People spend 5-20 mins in total during a Qvest. While the Qvest runs, you decide when to ask and answer.
Why do I need to ask questions?
Because it is most important what you want to know about the Qvest topic.
Can you give me an example of a question I could ask?
No. Questions are contagious, and it’s YOUR and your co-participants’ questions that matter in a Qvest.
Why do I have to choose a recipient for my question?
Because your question deserves to be answered by the person you think is most suited to answer.
Why can’t I ask more than one start question?
Because that’s all it takes to get the Qvest rolling - and when you know that it may be the only question you get to ask, you make sure to ask what is most important to you at the moment.
Why can I only send my question to one person?
Because there has to be one person who has responsibility for answering your question.
Why am I only allowed to ask more questions if someone asks me a question?
Because a Qvest is also a mapping of the questioning dynamic in a group. Everyone has an equal starting point (1 question per participant) and then it is up to the group to distribute the questions and answers. When the Qvest is over, you get a network map of this dynamic.
Do I need to respond to the questions I get?
Yes. One of your co-participants in the Qvest has chosen you as the recipient of their question - and they won’t receive an answer to their question unless you answer them.
Why haven’t I received a question?
In a Qvest everybody contributes with their start question. It is up to You and your co-participants to choose the recipient of your questions, and that is why some people receive a number of questions while others don’t receive any.
Why do I need to ask a new question every time I have answered one?
Because that’s how you keep the Qvest rolling - and have an impact on the collected body of knowledge.
Why can’t the recipient of the question see that I am the one asking?
Because you should be able to address what’s most important to you without worrying about how it will be received.
Can I answer a question without letting the questioner know who I am?
No, your answer is automatically sent to the questioner, who picked you as the recipient, and therefore knows that you are answering. The other participants won’t see your answer until the Qvest ends - and they won’t know it came from you, unless you write it in the answer-box. Please note that the person who started the Qvest can see who asked which questions, while everyone else can see just the question and answer content.
What is the purpose of collecting our questions and answers?
To unlock the collective body of experience related to the Qvest Topic, so everybody gets smarter and makes better decisions.
Who should I contact if I have questions about a specific Qvest?
The Qvest owner who invited you - see the Qvest site and your emails regarding the specific Qvest.
